More than 60 percent of people who voted in a CTTeens survey said they wanted to see Hillary Clinton be elected president.

Connecticut high school students voted from Oct. 21 through Nov. 8.

Of those who voted,62 percent supported Clinton, while 27 percent supported Donald Trump. Meanwhile, 8 percent said they’d like to see Jill Stein elected president, and about 3 percent said they wanted to see Gary Johnson elected president.

This CTTeens poll follows an in-person survey of about 400 high school students who attended the 33rd annual High School Journalism Day at Southern Connecticut State University.

Students at the high school journalism day supported Hillary Clinton 2 to 1.
